"Here's my draft of the minutes of the last meeting [committee]. As you will see there is a lack of information in 3 places. [...]
I wondered if those present would remember what was said about these 3 subjects. "

score candy
Every week I give a little quiz that counts for 1% of the final grade.
My first step accounts for only 10%. I want my students to get used to my style, they see it to do the exercises. Such weighting gives them a chance somehow. I then
3 steps of 15%. It's a lot, but I give homework.
And my final, which is a synthesis is 30%, the minimum score required by the policy evaluation of learning in my school.
I always keep at least a week to properly prepare students for their final applications where I take each of my previous steps and offer exercises synthesis. This is important because the final exam counts.
It is important for me to do a lot of force evaluations for students to be current in their work and if my steps are short, students master the material better evaluated.
They say 30% for the final evaluation is not sufficient. Some speak of a minimum of 40%. Then I fear for the success rate in my classes. If the weight of the final assessment is too high, students are more stressed, especially as the final exam covers all the material of the session, it is huge.
What annoys me most is that students do not prepare for quizzes that are given points and yet few students call duties. Sometimes I tell myself that we should prohibit students who have not done their duty to take the test. That would require them to work and it would increase their score.

Planes Found During Fossett Search
Cube Naoki Yoshimoto
This cube is tangible proof of Banach-Tarski paradox which says, roughly, it is possible, in a space 3 or more dimensions, taking a ball and divide it into a finite number of separate pieces that can be placed so as to obtain two identical models of the original ball.
It can buy MoMA (Museum of Modern Art in New York) for the "modest" sum of $ 60.
But hey, why pay when you can build one yourself?
Otherwise you can always settle for a simplified version that will undoubtedly occupy your children. You will not find, however, the dodecahedron, but that's another good reason to enjoy the beautiful weather we have and go get outside!
